Providing quality healthcare services to vulnerable population

The HIJRA Health programmes address the immediate health needs of vulnerable communities. We serve the poor and vulnerable population; newborns, children, adolescent girls, and child-bearing mothers with primary and secondary healthcare services. HIJRA collaborates with governments and states through the Ministry of Health to provide health services through already existing community health and community structures while leveraging the already existing programs to ensure complementarity and avoid the duplication of eort and resources. Recent health programme in Somalia involved the provision of primary health services(treatment of minor treatment maternal child health counseling, psycho-social support, sensitization on reproductive health for pregnant women, and weekly surveillance and reporting of cases of AWD/Cholera and Malaria for hard-to-reach ood aected IPD and host community populations in Wanlaweyn district.
