HIJRA programming in the Education sector is aimed at supporting the Governments’ effort to increase access to quality ECDE and Primary Education. A recent education sector project in Uganda focused on improving access to quality primary education in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District. 

The interventions, undertaken in partnership with AlJSIR foundation involved construction of a Library Block, a block of 2 class rooms, a latrine block of 10 stances, a Staff room block, Basketball Court, and a Kitchen Block at Kimwanyi Umea Primary School
